PROJECT INFORMATION
A property owner submitted an application to the City of Newberg to operate a vacation rental home at 301 N Meridian Street. After a period of interdepartmental and agency review, the Director of Community Development rendered a decision to grant approval of the vacation rental application on October 5th, 2023, to become effective on the 20th of October 2023, pending public comment.
The applicable criteria used to make a decision on this application for vacation rentals are found in Newberg Development Code Sections 15.445.300-350. All written comments must be turned in by October 19, 2023. Any issue which might be raised in an appeal of this case to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) must be submitted to the City in writing before this date. You must include enough detail to enable the decision maker an opportunity to respond.
