Human Resources
Adminstrative Services at the City includes Finance, IT Technology, and Human Resouces. The Human Resources Department partners with managers and employees to plan, develop, and evaluate job descriptions, pay scale, benefits, and employee performance. This department also provides strategies that support a fair and equitable Human Resources system, which values employees and maximizes individual and organizational performance.
The Human Resources Department provides resources and guidance to City employees, managers and departments regarding recruiting and hiring, retention, benefits, classification and compensation, employee leave, employee leave, training, labor relations, among others. The role of the HR is to support individual employees and the departments in matters pertaining to and impacting staff. HR ensures distribution of critical information to employees, particularly regarding matters of employee safety. Additionally, the department works with employees and departments to resolve employee issues quickly to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
