Public Comment

The City of Newberg welcomes public input during the Commission meetings.

Every meeting has time set aside for the public to address the Commission with concerns for items on the Agenda or any general concern not specified on the Agenda. 

 

 

To make a Public Comment a Public Comment Form must be filled out and handed in to the recorder prior to the start of the meeting.  For virtual attendance, the forms must be submitted by noon the day of the meeting to fe.bates@newbergoregon.gov 

Each speaker will be allowed up to 5 minutes after recognition by the Chair.

The Commission requests all persons in attendance avoid conduct which is unreasonably loud, disruptive, or profane. Rude, slanderous, or threatening remarks will not be permitted. Whistles, yelling, foot stomping, clapping, or speaking out of order are also discouraged. Anyone doing so may be removed from Council Chambers.
