The community as a whole embarked on creating a vision for Newberg's future. Through a collaborative process community members, businesses, organizations and you worked together to build a strong Newberg.
Through this process, we:
- Reviewed aspects of the community, such as its culture, infrastructure, and town identity
- Gained an understanding of multiple community perspectives through public activities and events
- Created a single vision that includes everything from the streets to community relationship building
- Created an action plan and timeline for achieving specific goals in the next 20 years
Why did we do this? Newberg has changed drastically over the past few years. The process made sure that local residents and businesses guided the priorities in this 20 year plan.
When did the project begin and end? The project began in January 2019 and wrapped up in July 2019.
