Criminal history files are kept confidential from public disclosure pursuant to the Adminstrative Rules of the Oregon State Police and LEDS (Law Enforcement Data System), except as otherwise required by law. Persons seeking a criminal history check should contact the Oregon State Police at http://egov.oregon.gov/OSP/ID/public_records.shtml
Persons seeking a local criminal records check within the Newberg-Dundee Police Department jurisdiction may do so by completing a request for a Local Criminal Records Check utilizing the Public Records Request Form, and the request must be from and for the requesting party.
Citizens residing outside the city limits of Newberg or Dundee must contact the Yamhill County Sheriff's Department.
If you need a certified background check, complete the Public Records Request Form and submit it with the $35 fee to:
