Welcome to the City of Newberg's Tourism information site. The Newberg Strategic Tourism Plan was adopted in June 2016. The City of Newberg's Tourism activities are funded through the Transient Lodging Tax (TLT) collected from lodging accommodation operators within the city limits. Use of TLT funds is determined by the Newberg City Council with recommendations by the TLT Ad Hoc Committee. This site will provide you information on the Newberg Strategic Tourism Plan, TLT Ad Hoc Committee and TLT grant fund opportunities.      

The Transient Lodging Tax Small Grant Program is accepting applications until December 15, 2017. Grant fund are available for projects, programs or events that furthers tourism activity.

The Newberg Transient Lodging Tax (TLT) Ad Hoc Committee was formed on December 5, 2016 by the Mayor with the consent of the Newberg City Council. The purpose of the TLT Ad Hoc Committee is to implement the Newberg Strategic Tourism Plan adopted by the City Council in June 2016. The TLT Ad Hoc Committee consists of thirteen members and two Ex Officio members.
