How do I obtain a police report?
You may obtain a copy of a police report by completing a Public Records Request form (Available here) and submitting to Newberg-Dundee Police Department at 401 East Third Street. All calls to the Police Department are a matter of public record. However, some information may not be released if it involves a pending criminal case or ongoing investigation.

What do I do about harassing phone calls?
If you receive an unwanted or harassing phone call, the law requires that you advise the caller not to call back. Once you have advised the caller not to call again, hang up the phone. Pick the phone back up and dial *57. This will attempt to trace the last call received. Listen to the recording and follow appropriate instructions. Note: There is a small fee for each successful trace.

When is a vehicle considered abandoned?
Under Newberg City Code, storage of vehicles or personal property on the public streets in excess of 72 hours is prohibited. If a vehicle is not moved for a period of 72 hours, it is considered storage and abandonment. In addition to daily citations, the vehicle is subject to removal by towing at the owner´s expense. Traffic citations may be paid at the Newberg Public Safety Building at 401 E. Third Street. You may also mail your fine to: Newberg Municipal Court, PO BOX 970, Newberg, OR 97132. If you have a question regarding a traffic citation, please contact Newberg Municipal Court at (503) 537-1203.
