West Franklin Storm line construction
To solve an area of persistent flooding (during flash flood events) the city is building a $400,000 new storm line to divert water away from residences and an industrial area. The project is well on its way with a goal to be completed early in 2026. The scope of work includes labor, materials, equipment, and the tools necessary to furnish and install approximately 1,300 linear feet of storm sewer pipeline, (6) storm sewer manholes, and associated catch basins and area drains as well as surface restoration within City Right of Ways.
