Newberg City Council Goals
The Newberg City Council convenes regularly to come up with a series of goals and objectives that will guide their decisions and actions. These goals tend to change based on the composition of the Council, but several themes often surface in each iteration of the goals.
This page serves as a record to keep up with the City's progress on achieving Council goals. The current set of goals were established in 2023 during a Council retreat. The City Council crafted seven goals, each with its own breakdown of objectives. See the 2023 Council Goals here.
At the first Council meeting of 2024, Will Worthey, the City Manager, presented an update on the progress of the Council goals. See the City Manager's report here.
