Newberg Library Volunteers
Library volunteers are an important part of the library team. Volunteers give hundreds of hours of assistance annually and their contribution is essential to the daily operation of the library.
For consideration to be a library volunteer we will need:a completed volunteer application form (available at the Information Desk)
a signed consent for a background check (witnessed by a staff member at the Information Desk)
a photocopy of the applicant's driver license (Information Desk staff will make a copy)
Note: Applications will not be considered until the background check is passed. Applicants must be age 14 and older to volunteer alone.
Applications are processed four times a year. The deadlines are: March 1st, June 1st, September 1st, and December 1st.
