Information regarding the function of each committee, current members, meeting schedules, and general information can be found below.
All Boards, Committees, and Commissions are subject to the Council and Committee Rules adopted by City Council in 2025.
Committee recruitment is now open to fill vacancies beginning January 2026. Learn more about the duties of the various committees at the links below. Volunteers like you make Newberg a great place to grow!Time commitment for our Committee/Commissions vary by group, but is typically either one evening once a month or on a quarterly basis. Committee members/Commissioners will be expected to attend over 75% of the scheduled meetings, review agenda materials prior to meetings in order to be well informed to make decisions, as well as hold and manage a City email account. Some of our Committees/Commission require various trainings per state law, these are usually online courses, please inquire with the City Recorder's Office for more information regarding these trainings.

Applications for student commissioners will be accepted on a rolling basis until vacancies are filled.
