Temporary Relocation of Utility Billing Department |  January 18, 2024

(NEWBERG, OR) – Following flooding that displaced City of Newberg staff at the City Hall building on Monday, January 15th, the City Manager and Finance Director identified the relocation of Utility Billing services as a high priority.

Several locations have been identified as suitable office spaces for City employees to work while repairs get underway at City Hall, but Utility Billing faces the unique challenge of requiring a walk-up counter. The front office, also known as the “Court office”, at the Public Safety Building just a couple of blocks from City Hall is being set up as a temporary site for Utility Billing to work and accept calls and payments from residents.

In the interim, Utility Billing can be found at 401 E 3rd St, Newberg, OR 97132. Office hours will be 8 AM – 4:30 PM with a 1 hour lunch break from 1 PM – 2 PM. Residents can call 503-537-1205 starting on Monday, January 22nd or email utility.billing@newbergoregon.gov to talk to a staff member during these office hours.

Updates regarding relocation of other city services will be provided as they become available.
