"Six more weeks!" declares Stumptown Fil
Happy Groundhog day!
The Oregon Zoo has developed a local twist on this annual tradition by enlisting the expertise of beaver and alleged weather forecaster, Stumptown Fil, to determine future temperatures.
Despite Fil's forecast of a lengthy winter, we want to make sure you're prepared for planting that spring garden. That's why the City of Newberg Wastewater Treatment facility creates high quality, nutrient rich compost for use in our community.
Interested in learning more? Visit the Newgrow Compost page on our website for details on hours of operation and information on the process of turning wastewater into compost!
See Stumptown Fil's forecast on the Oregon Zoo's Facebook page!
