Prescription Drugs Take Back
Dispose of your unwanted, unneeded or expired medications. Drop off items at the Public Safety Building, 401 E. Third Street. The lobby hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. It's a free and anonymous service.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: expired or unwanted prescription medications;over-the-counter medications; vitamins and related supplements; veterinary medications prescribed for your family pets; medications from deceased family members; and unknown tablets or capsules.
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS: Intravenous solutions (liquids); injectibles; syringes (needles); medical waste; and illicit substances.
PLEASE KEEP MEDICATIONS IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONTAINERS - REMOVE OR STRIKE OUT ANY IDENTIFYING INFORMATION IF YOU CHOOSE.
