OEM Director McMahon Visits Newberg
We were very fortunate to have Erin McMahon, the new Oregon Department of Emergency Management director, make time to visit Newberg to discuss our progress with our community response plan. She met with Public Works Director, Russ Thomas, and Emergency Management Coordinator, Karen Tarmichael.
Director McMahon was impressed at how Tarmichael has maximized the city's resources and worked with surrounding cities and counties to develop a true community response plan.
