Newberg’s New Water Plant & System

The City plans to advance incrementally towards reaching a safe and resilient water future for the community.
The initial phase is the planned construction of a new resilient Groundwater Treatment Plant with demolition of the existing plant to follow.
Following completion of these initial phases, the City should review the need, priority, and timing of future supply development.
To document these phases, the City needs to amend the existing Water Master Plan. The timing of the future improvements and a phased implementation plan should be developed with the next Water System Master Plan Update.
