NEW UTILITY BILLING SOFTWARE
Regarding the change to utility billing accounts:
The city messaged using multiple avenues that this change was coming.
There will be no shutoffs or penalties in March to accommodate this change. They will resume in April.
This message was included on the February 2023 water bill:
“NEW BILLING SYSTEM & NEW WEBSITE! As of February 2023, we have implemented a new billing system and a new website to accept online. If you were on Autopay using a credit/debit card before 2/1/2023, you will need to re-register on the new City payment portal, and set up your Autopay. You will need your new account number and your last payment amount. If you have any questions, please contact Utility Billing at 503-537-1205”
This only affects those who pay online, not those who use bank debit.
A team member will be available in the lobby of City Hall to assist anyone with re-enrolling on the new billing website.
