Biographies
Cory Chase
Cory Chase has served as the Captain for the Port of Portland Police Department, overseeing the Portland International Airport, General Aviation, and Marine activities, since 2012. Cory started his 20-year law enforcement career as a Patrol Officer for the Prineville, Oregon Police Department. From there, he worked for the Redmond, Oregon Police Department, where he started as a Police Officer and moved up to Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, and then Patrol Lieutenant before joining the Port of Portland. Cory received his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership degree from Columbia Southern University.
Jeff Kosmicki
Jeff Kosmicki has served as the Interim Chief of Police for the City of Newberg, Oregon, since 2020. Before being named Interim Police Chief, Jeff started his 24-year Public Safety career as a Patrol Officer for the Newberg Police Department, where he subsequently moved up the ranks to Police Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and then Captain. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from George Fox University.
Mica Lunt
Mica Lunt most recently served as the Chief of Police for the Forney Police Department in Forney, Texas. Mica started his 14-year law enforcement career in College Station, Texas as a Police Officer. After that, Mica rose in the ranks from Police Officer to Police Sergeant then Police Lieutenant for the Plano, Texas Police Department prior to joining the Forney Police Department. Before working in law enforcement, Mica worked at the University of Arkansas as a Resident Assistant, Head Resident, and Assistant Resident Director and then was a Graduate Fellow in Clinical Psychology for Eastern Michigan University. Mica has a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice from Walden University, a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology degree from Eastern Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Physics degree from the University of Arkansas.
Joel Wendland
Joel Wendland has served as the Captain of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office in Portland, Oregon, since 2015, after being promoted from Lieutenant. Before working for Multnomah County, Joel began his 14-year law enforcement career for the Troutdale Police Department as a Sergeant and then Lieutenant. Joel received his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration degree from Columbia Southern University.
