Heat Assistance
Assistance is available to help with various heating sources: Electricity, Propane, Natural Gas, Heating oil, Pellets, or Firewood.
This is through the Low Income Energy Assistance Program. Yamhill County has money for households that help low income households. This is one time payments from October 2022 through September 2023. The money comes from the federal government.

Procedimiento
Las solicitudes se procesan por correo. Los hogares de personas mayores o discapacitados que hayan recibido asistencia energética durante el año anterior recibirán notificación durante los meses de octubre o noviembre. Los nuevos solicitantes pueden ser referidos por otras agencias de servicios sociales o pueden solicitar un paquete de solicitud llamando a la oficina de YCAP. (Línea Principal de Asistencia Energética 503-472-0457 ext. 1480 o 1-855-216-5289 ext 1480) Las fechas del programa están sujetas a cambios según las acciones del gobierno federal.
