There are several different types of business licenses available through the City: General, Home Occupation, Peddler, or Exhibitor.

A few tips:
- Vacation Rental or Short-Term Rental properties must apply to and be approved by the Planning department before applying for a Business License. For help, call (503) 537-1240.
- Business Licenses that have a yearly fee must be paid by the month and day of issuance yearly.
- If your business changes ownership, the new owner shall obtain a new business license.
