Community Open House

Newberg needs community input to address rising rents.
Join us to discuss rent burden causes and solutions. The State of Oregon identified Newberg as a community with severe rent burdened households, meaning more than 25% of renters pay more than 50% of their monthly income on rent.
Items to discuss and participate in at the open house:
- Causes and consequences of severe rent burdens within the city.
- Barriers to reducing rent burdens.
- Possible solutions to reduce rent burdened households.
WHERE: Public Safety Building (401 E. 3rd St)
