Prevent Fire On Your Property
Defensible space is a buffer you create between your home/business and the grass, trees, or shrubs around it.
Embers are the leading cause of home loss during fire season. They can travel miles during windy conditions; blowing across roofs and treetops as they do. Between July and October our region becomes dry and warm. Small changes to your property is your best defense against embers from a nearby fire.
For more information visit the Oregon State Fire Marshal's website for easy tips to keep your property protected.
