In January, 2018, the City Council approved the construction of the project by 2KG Contractors, Inc. through a competitive bid process. The contractor began mobilization in February 2018. The contractor has provided a temporary wastewater bypass system for the pump station. Landscaping restoration and stormwater runoff will be addressed as part of the final project. Three new pumps with an updated control system and a new wet well will be installed for the pump station. The driveway and access surfaces will also be improved.
