Join us for a role-play-based negotiation game, Monumental Consequence. Monumental Consequence will be led by George Fox University History Professor, Paul Otto. This program is intended for ages 14 and up. Set in the fictional town of La Ville, villagers must make tough decisions that impact all aspects of the environment and people around them.
Paul Otto regularly uses role-immersion games in his college classrooms and is an avid board-game player. He is also co-author of the game Bacon's Rebellion, 1676-77: Race, Class, and Frontier Conflict in Early Virginia.
Monumental Consequence was created by Mary Beth Looney and is available for purchase through Central Michigan University Press. https://cmichpress.com/. No purchase is required to participate.
