The Painted Lady Awarded Four Diamonds by AAA
Every year AAA reviews close to 60,000 hotels and restaurants for their travel guide. Every review rates the hotel or restaurant on a scale from one to five diamonds on the quality of its service to the menu materials. As of 2010, no Oregon restaurants have received four diamonds or higher. However, this year Newberg’s very own, The Painted Lady, was awarded four diamonds, making it AAA’s highest rated restaurant in Oregon. The restaurant, along with its honorable award, will be featured in the motor club’s upcoming issue.
The Painted Lady opened in 2005 by the chef Allen Routt and his wife, also the manager, Jessica Bagley. The Painted Lady is located at 201 S. College St. in Newberg, OR 97132. It is open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday 5pm-10pm.
