Service Interruption Due to Non-Payment

All water rates and charges shall be payable to the city. If any water consumer fails to pay the water bill on or before the due date stated on the bill, the bill shall be deemed delinquent. If the delinquent bill is not paid on or before the due date as stated on the bill, the water shall be turned off from the premises and remain off until the water bill has been paid, including any turn-on charges which are set by city council resolution. | Información en Español

Service Disconnection Notification
  • A Late Notice is sent when payment for services is not received by the due date indicated on the monthly statement. The notification includes the previous month's past due amount and a message stating that service will be disconnected on a certain date if payment is not received.
  • To avoid service disconnection, account must be paid in full including late fees by 8:00 a.m. on the date indicated.
  • There is a late fee charge once the late notice is issued.
  • If payment for the past due amount is not received in our office by 4:00 p.m. on the day before SHUT OFF DATE specified on the late notice, a shut off fee is applied to the balance regardless of water being turned off.
  • There are no reconnections made after 4:00 p.m., on weekends or holidays.

 

Services are discontinued for NON-PAYMENT 
  • The total past due balance plus Late Fees must be paid in Full before Water Service may resume, this applies to any person or entity requested the restore.

  • Shut off fee - $50
