Chehalem Cultural Center to host 14th Annual MLK Jr. Day Celebration
The Chehalem Cultural Center will host a celebration for Martin Luther King Jr. Day this year highlighting themes from Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech. The celebration will include short video excerpts form the speech followed by 5-minute reflections led by a George Fox University student, an Newberg High School student, and a local community member.
When: Monday, January 15 beginning at 6:00 PM
Where: Chehalem Cultural Center

Program Schedule:
5:30 PM - Doors Open
6:00 PM - Formal Event Begins: An interactive program featuring videos, stories/spoken word, reflection, discussion, and collaborative art installation.
Free food will be provided after the program by G&W Smoked Caribbean Barbecue.
