The Oregon Department of Transportation has been preparing for construction to start on Phase 2A of the Newberg-Dundee Bypass.
Starting today, Mar. 10, you can expect:• Crews installing traffic control devices, like signs and cones.
• Reduced speed in the work zone to 35 mph.
• Crews starting to install erosion control, which will help control how water flows through the work area.
• Equipment moving in the area as we start to build the foundation of the road, raising it to meet the elevation needed for the future bridge over OR 219.
Please watch for workers and drive with caution.
