Mark your calendars, Newberg! National Night Out is coming back to Memorial Park on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM, and the whole community is invited to come out for an evening of food, fun, and getting to know the people who keep our city safe.National Night Out is a nationwide celebration that brings neighbors, first responders, and local organizations together to build stronger, safer communities. Here in Newberg, that means an afternoon in the park with something for everyone in the family, including the four-legged members.
What to ExpectGrab a hot dog, chips, and water while supplies last, then let the kids loose on the bounce house and obstacle course. Watch a live drone demo, get in line to smash a car, and stop by to meet K9 Ike in person. This is a laid-back evening built for wandering from booth to booth and striking up conversations with the neighbors and city staff who make Newberg feel like home.
