City of Newberg Invites Community to Public Works Day at the Library
Free family event features equipment displays, activities, and lunchpw day crowdNEWBERG, OR — The City of Newberg will host its annual Public Works Day on Wednesday, June 17, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Newberg Public Library, 503 E. Hancock Street. The free, family-friendly event celebrates the work of the crews and equipment that keep Newberg running every day.

Attendees of all ages are welcome to explore trucks and equipment from the City of Newberg Public Works Department and the Newberg-Dundee Police Department, as well as a few other agencies around the city. The event will include hands-on activities, games, and prizes, along with a free hot dog lunch while supplies last.

Public Works Day is a great opportunity for residents to meet the people behind the services they rely on and see the machinery that maintains the city's roads, utilities, and infrastructure up close.
