For Immediate Release: April 27, 2026

NEWBERG, OR - The City of Newberg invites residents and visitors to celebrate a historic milestone this Independence Day. America 250: Newberg's Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 4 to 10 p.m. at Northwest Christian Church, 2315 Villa Road. The event is free and open to the public, offering a full evening of festivities in honor of America's 250th birthday.

The celebration will feature live music, a dedicated kids zone, free hot dogs and chips, and a selection of local food trucks offering a variety of options for everyone. Whether you're settling in for an afternoon of music or arriving just in time for the fireworks, there's something for everyone throughout the evening.

The night will culminate in a large-scale fireworks show designed to bring the Newberg community together in a shared moment of civic pride, a fitting tribute to 250 years of American history.

Parking information will be announced in the coming weeks. The Newberg-Dundee Police Department will be on site throughout the event to assist with vehicle and pedestrian safety, and attendees are encouraged to follow all traffic guidance from officers on duty.

This event is made possible through the collaborative partnership of the City of Newberg, George Fox University, and Northwest Christian Church. Together, these organizations are proud to offer the community a meaningful and memorable way to mark this once-in-a-generation anniversary.
