Get Ready for Wildfire Season at a Free Open House on May 7
As summer approaches and wildfire risk increases across Oregon, the City of Newberg is partnering with Portland General Electric (PGE) to bring a free Wildfire Ready Open House to our community.

Join us on Thursday, May 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Newberg Public Safety Building (401 E 3rd St) for a drop-in event designed to help residents feel informed and prepared heading into wildfire season. No RSVP is required; simply stop by anytime during the event.

What to ExpectPGE experts and community partners will be on hand to answer your questions and share information about wildfire prevention efforts happening right here in Newberg. Topics will include Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) and what they mean for your household, emergency preparedness tips for summer, and the wildfire prevention investments PGE is making in our area.
This is an open-house style event, so you can arrive when it works for you and spend as much time as you'd like talking with the people who know this topic best.

Interpretation Services AvailableAmerican Sign Language and Spanish interpreters will be available throughout the event.
