The City has received a notice from the Oregon Health Association to cover the open concrete treatment
tanks at the City’s Groundwater Treatment Plant. The requirement for covers is to reduce the potential for
contamination of the water supply from the outside environment. The tanks requiring covers are two contact tanks and six filter tanks. The original construction had two filter tanks. Two additional tanks were added in 1980 and two more in 2007 making a total of six filter tanks. In 2025 The City is on construction cover the tanks to comply with the Oregon Health.

 mandated covers are added.
A pre-construction meeting was held on July 29 with the Contractor, Cedar Mill Construction, the City, and Keller Associates.
