The City of Newberg does regulate Vacation Home Rentals and Bed and Breakfast Establishments, please find the information below on what approvals and reviews are needed to have those uses on your property.

Street trees enhance the beauty and livability of our community, and are typically planted in the landscape strip between the curb and the sidewalk (part of the public Right-of-Way).

Property owners have the responsibility to maintain the street trees, the planter strip, and the sidewalk along their property frontage. If the street tree adjacent to your property is diseased or damaged or if it is causing damage to the sidewalk, then you can get a permit from the city to remove the street tree and replant a new one.

Because of the popularity of these signs the City would like to share answers to some frequently asked questions about the placement of garage sale signs.

Q: Can I put a garage sale sign on the street corner?
