Apply For a Library Card

Everyone is welcome to use library resources inside the library. The Newberg Public Library is supported by the residents living within the city limits of Newberg. In addition, there are also cooperative agreements with other areas that provide tax support for the library. There are different types of library cards available. Which one you qualify for depends on where you live.
How to apply for a library card (in-person or online):
IN-PERSON
Visit the Library Circulation Desk with identification and proof of current address. Children under 12 will need the signature and ID of a parent or guardian.
Accepted forms of ID
- Driver’s license with current address
- Current Student ID card
- Other government-issued ID showing name and other identifying information
Proof of current address
- Mail delivered by the Post Office within one week of the date of application
- Driver's license with current address
- Student's name and address through StudentVue
- Other document showing applicant's name and address
