City Services relocated to other facilities after flood at City Hall Building.
Due to flood damage in Newberg City Hall, located at 414 E First St., City services have been relocated to several triage locations until the building is repaired. This page serves as a directory for City Services in the interim, as well as a central archive location for press releases and information regarding the flood event and our response to it.
April 29, 2024 Update
The building has been stabilized and completely de-humidified.
All furniture has been removed and the salvageable materials put into storage for free thanks to our friends at DCI.
Currently working via the intermediary of the new firm to finalize what items will be covered and what will not be covered by CIS the city insurance agency.
We hope to be back in city hall by September but that is subject to change depending upon the availability of contractors, and final price schedules.
Not everything will be covered by insurance since there is always some push and pool with their adjustors, however staff are working as hard as they can to get the best possible deal for Newberg residents.
