Wild/Domestic Animal Permit
Please fill out the Wild/Domestic Animal Permit Application and submit it to City Hall for approval. Allow a minimum of 5 working days to process. An inspection of the animal(s) housing is required before a permit can be issued.
In accordance with ORS 167.340, abandoning a domesticated animal at a location without providing for the animal’s continued care is a Class C misdemeanor imposing a fine of up to $2500. In accordance with ORS 906, a permit is required for any person, firm, corporation or association maintaining honeybees or any wild or domestic animal or fowl within the corporate limits of the City of Newberg.
