Animal Control

The Newberg Animal Shelter is located at 1591 S. Sandoz Road off of Wynooski Rd.  Animal Control Officer Darleen Harding can be reached by calling police dispatch at (503) 538-8321.

Interested in becoming a Newberg Animal Shelter volunteer?  Complete an application and bring it or mail it to the Newberg-Dundee Police Department, 401 E Third Street, PO Box 970, Newberg, OR    97132.  Citizen support is always welcome!

Lost & Found Animals: All lost or found animals should be reported to the Newberg-Dundee Police Department at (503) 538-8321.  
Adoption: Newberg Animal Shelter adopts dogs and assists in placing cats in loving homes. For further information, contact (503) 537-1243. 

Licenses are required for all dogs in Yamhill County over 6 months of age or possessing their canine teeth.
You can obtain a dog license in Newberg by contacting the Newberg-Dundee Animal Control, or the local vet clinics. You may also obtain a license through Yamhill County Animal Control located at 2070 Lafayette Avenue, McMinnville.
The Newberg Animal Shelter accepts donations of pet food, animal supplies and monies. All proceeds are used toward the care of the animals and upkeep of the shelter.
