Stream Corridor Plant List
Newberg Stream Corridor Plant List
Newberg has a Stream Corridor Overlay zone that runs along streams within the city. The plant list in the attached Guide for Using Willamette Valley Native Plants Along Your Stream (Linn Soil and Water Conservation District, June 2005) is designated Newberg’s official Stream Corridor Plant List. The plant list identifies acceptable plants for restoration projects along stream corridors. The Guide also lists noxious plants that should be avoided.
The purpose, background, and requirements of the Stream Corridor Overlay zone are described in full in Chapter 15.342 of the Newberg Development Code.
