According to Newberg Municipal Code (NMC) 15.445.165 no recreational vehicle shall be parked at the curb of
any city street for more than 48 hours. Dundee Municipal Code states no longer than 72 hours and includes detached trailers.
Recreational vehicles not in daily use can be parked on the owner’s property as long as it’s not parked in the required front yard setback (NMC 15.410.020) (DMC 17.304.030) for more than 48 hours in Newberg and 72 hours in Dundee.
Having an improperly parked recreational vehicle could result in a $500 daily fine.
The Newberg and Dundee Municipal Code also states no person shall live in a recreational vehicle at any location other than a mobile home park, manufactured dwelling park, or a recreational vehicle park.
