Towed Vehicle Release Requirements
You may schedule a vehicle release at any time by calling (503) 538-8321. To obtain the release of your vehicle you must provide:
- Satisfactory proof of ownership or right to possess the vehicle;
- Proof that a person with valid driving privileges will be in operation of the vehicle;
- Proof of insurance; and
- Cash payment of the $75 Administrative Fee to Newberg-Dundee Police Department.
Additional storage and towing fees will need to be paid directly to the towing company.

Towing and storage charges which remain unpaid after 30 days are subject to a lien being attached to the vehicle and its contents. Failure to settle these financial responsibilities within 30 days of the date of the notification of the tow will result in the vehicle being sold to satisfy the costs of towing and storage charges.
You may request a hearing to contest the validity of an impoundment. The request must be made within five calendar days, and submitted to:

- Dundee Municipal Court at 620 SW Fifth Street, Dundee, OR 97115
The request must be in writing and shall state the grounds upon which you believe that the custody and removal of your vehicle was not justified.
