Permit to Perform Operations in the Public Right-Of-Way
The permit to perform operations in the public right-of-way is used for situations that will obstruct the public right-of-way . (This includes, but is not limited to, public streets, roads, alleys, bridges, trails, paths, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, planter strips)
Common situations where a right-of-way permit are necessary include, but is not limited to:
- Tree Removal
- Construction work that blocks a street or sidewalk.
- Sidewalk Dining Permit (Downtown C-3 zoning district only)
- Temporary Storage Units (such as PODS)
Please submit a site plan showing the location of the property and impact of the work along with your permit application.
The cost of the permit is $10.50 plus 5% technology fee.
