Affordable Housing Action Committee

The Affordable Housing Action Committee was formed by the Newberg City Council in 2009.  The main purpose of the committee is to implement the actions recommended in the recently adopted Affordable Housing Action Plan.

The Mayor appointed 10 members to the committee in October 2009.  The Committee began meeting in December 2009.  The committee established four subcommittees to work on specific tasks in the plan:

Fees/Finance Subcommittee.

Education/Outreach Subcommittee.

Legislation Subcommittee

City Housing Program Subcommittee.

Subcommittees began meeting in January, 2010.  Look to the City Calendar for meeting dates and times.
