Francis Square/Butler Property Reservation Permit

Reserve City Facilities for Public Use

With a permit Francis Square and the Butler Property facilities are available for public use. Read the following instructions to make reservations. 

Permit required / No Fee:  NO FEE as of June 19, 2017 via Resolution No. 2017-3384 

INSTRUCTIONS & REQUIREMENTS

1. Call to CHECK AVAILABILITY call (503) 537-1234.

2. Get LIABILITY INSURANCE, required by the City. Every applicant shall provide the City with a Certificate of Liability Insurance and Additional Insured Endorsement naming the City of Newberg, its officers, agents, employees and volunteers as an additional insured at least 30 days prior to the event. Purchase liability insurance in the amount dictated by the current Oregon Tort Claims Act ORS 30.272(4). 

3. Complete the RESERVATION PERMIT FORM.  Allow 10 working days to process the application. Applications with a sound permit require 30 days to process.

• The applicant assumes full responsibility for any and all damage & including clean-up during the event.

4. Gather REQUIRED DOCUMENTS 

• Copy of LIABILITY INSURANCE CERTIFICATE - the limits change on a yearly basis so be sure to refer to the Reservation Permit Form or ORS 30.272(4) for accurate limits.
• Copy of SOUND PERMIT (if event will broadcast applified sound)

5. DELIVER IN PERSON OR MAIL the Reservation Permit Form and required documents to:

IMPORTANT NOTE

• Submitting an application does not guarantee the reservation. 
• You will be contacted with a confirmation & receive a copy of the approved permit.
• A copy of the permit must be available on site at all times during the permitted event.
