1st Friday of each month
3:30 pm to 4:30 or so

Join other middle and high school youth on the 1st Friday of each month in helping the library decide what matters and happens for you! Be prepared for snacks and brainstorming.





Ideas that we've put into action:

    • Painting the YA bulletin boards
    • Selected books for the Newberg-Dundee Youth Outreach Center
    • Powell's Book Buying Spree (annual Spring field trip to downtown Portland
    • Teen Read Week All-Nighter (an annual event about the 3rd week in October)
    • Water Party (annual August celebration with water balloons & hoses
    • Book Celebrations (Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Twilight
    • Video Gaming on the Big Screen & Late Night Gaming events
    • Anime Club (3rd Th of each month)
    • Yu-Gi-Oh Tournaments (last Tu of each month)
    • Writers' Group (2nd Th of each month)
