Newberg Library Friends & Booksales

The Newberg Library Friends is an all-volunteer group whose focus is to assist the library through interesting and worthwhile functions. Supporting children's programs, expanding library resources, sponsoring book sales to raise funds, and encouraging community support are only a few of their many contributions. Anyone is welcome to join by paying a small annual membership fee of $5.

Last year, the Friends supported summer reading, programs throughout the year, the microfilm machine, and shelving for the Carnegie Room. Thanks to the Friends, and all their customers, for these wonderful additions to the Library.

The Friends hold their regular monthly business meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the Library

Check the Friends Book Sale Shelves in the Lobby everyday for great book bargains.

The Friends hold large sales two times a year.

Check out the Library Calendar of Events for dates for these sales.

You can join the Friends anytime by asking at the Circulation Desk or fill out a membership form at their at their bi-annual sale.
