Wednesday, September 15th at 6 pm at the Newberg Public Library
We are pleased to invite you to a visioning workshop about transforming the public spaces and streets around the Chehalem Cultural Center & Newberg Public Library into a great civic destination facilitated by the internationally recognized non-profit planning organization, Project for Public Spaces (PPS).
Since its formation in 1975, PPS has literally written the book on creating great public spaces. They have helped build, transform and revitalize thousands of parks, plazas, streets, markets, libraries, and other community gathering spaces in hundreds of cities across America and around the World. Join us in transforming the spaces around the Chehalem Cultural Center & Newberg Public Library into active, vibrant and attractive places that anchor and support downtown. Come share your ideas and contribute to the vision for a great cultural destination. We respect your time and promise a fast-paced, engaging, participatory workshop. Bring your walking shoes.
