The City Attorney's Office acts as the legal advisor to all departments of the City of Newberg. The City Attorney directs all litigation, including administrative hearings, acts as prosecutor in the Municipal Court, coordinates processing of insurance claims, negotiates agreements, attends all City Council and other Council Committee meetings. The City Attorney's Office negotiates or reviews all documents concerning the City of Newberg and handles all duties assigned to the Elections Officer.
