p1000617The City of Newberg is committed to providing safe and reliable drinking water. In Oregon, water providers are required to meet the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) and the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) water quality regulations which include constant testing and disinfection from the source through the treatment plant up to the reservoirs and to your tap.
In 2023 we produced:
  • 880.1 million gallons of water with zero quality deficiencies or violations
  • 2.56 million gallons (MGD) per day on average
  • 5.30 million gallons on peak production day
Irrigation water used by CPRD for the Chehalem Golf Course is reclaimed from the wastewater plant instead of using the fresh water as a source.
Golf Course use of reclaimed water ranges between 350,000 and 500,000 gallons a day.
In 2023 that amount was 49.48 million gallons.
