Technical Rescue

Thanks to a Federal Grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, our downtown station (Sta. 20) is undergoing a much needed remodel. Most of the work will be interior work focused on improvements for firefighter safety, however the work will also include a new public entryway.

Water Rescue
Newberg Fire Department has a well trained and equipped water rescue team that that includes dive rescue capabilities. We receive calls for help several times each year from all over the greater Willamette Valley.

Rope Rescue
Newberg Fire Department's Rope Rescue Team offers high and low angle rope rescue to the Newberg and Dundee response areas. This team is currently restructuring, and has a limited number of trained personnel.
